REST AND RECOVER
A MAGICAL WEEKEND
with
ELIZABETH LEE 24/7
Here’s what it can look like, and please remember that this is at most simply a suggestion:
Say you arrive Friday evening, or maybe earlier, at 3 pm – We would talk about your needs, for the weekend, but also something of the challenges you are facing. We’ll talk about food, sleeping preferences, etc.
We get around to doing a practice relaxation session, a hot soaking tub, followed by a scrub, Japanese-style (ask me). I’ll feed you and give you tea. Finally, you’ll be tucked (comforted) into bed, given reading materials (perhaps something that seems suitable) and a suitable reading light and a few minutes to just ‘rest’.
Saturday morning you’ll probably wakeup with the house, maybe you’ll roll over and go back to sleep. We’ll discuss your preferences. Attend to your toilet. We’ll have tea and go for a short walk (insert appropriate exercise). Back for a wonderful organic, hand-ground bowl of rice cream with fruit and nuts. raw butter, and cream.
Now that your stomach is comforted we’ll take time then for you to sit by the river and perhaps photograph for a couple of hours. Then a ‘session with Elizabeth’, somewhere in there we have a small lunch of soup and salad. In the afternoon you are encouraged to sit by the river, journal, write questions and build a ‘River Prayer’ by stacking stones by the river.
That evening we’ll rendezvous at the restaurant, Indigo and have a Q and A session before dinner. Later that evening, I’ll tuck you in and give you a foot therapy.
Sunday morning, perhaps a little earlier, a shower, tea and ‘A Massage Therapy session by Elizabeth’. Expect a miracle.
Rest and Recover. Hike and See The Mother with new eyes. Watch for shadows…
Journal And enjoy the ALL Game from 3 to 7pm.

I have served as therapist to some of the most prestigious people of our age, including Pamela Harriman (14 years), Alice DuPont Mills (19 years), and Ambassador Robert McKinney (13 years), to name just three whom I was with until their passing.
I’m 64 now and I don’t have the desire to replay my lifelong commitments, and I want to offer the Special Gift of Renewal to people who need to be supported. People who have taken big pieces of responsibility.
There is this really special house in a village in the Blue Ridge Mountains that was built by a renaissance Black man after the Civil War. The energy here is wonderful. The Thornton River in the back yard brings the winds of healing. I adopted this house back in 1996 and it has served my family well. Now it is time to offer it to others as The Engham House Guest Rooms and Hostel. Check www.enghamhouse.com and have a look. This is where you will stay.
So, okay, admit you need a comforting weekend, to be the best you can be. Your body, mind, and spirit need an opportunity to resonate, to harmonize.
